Senior Account Manager (fulltime)

For 25 years, The Impulse Factory has been the co‑creation partner for innovative private label snacks. Together with retailers and brands across Europe, we develop organic chips and snacks with a functional or distinctive base — aligned with what tomorrow’s consumers demand. We don’t sell standard products. We sell knowledge, networks and development expertise. 

From our office in Breda, a close‑knit team of 12 people works closely with customers and suppliers. 2025 was our strongest year to date, and our ambition is to continue growing. To support this growth, we are looking to strengthen our team. 

Are you a Senior Account Manager who works with major retailers at a strategic level, negotiates confidently on price and margins, and understands how to translate customer needs into concrete product development? Then this is a role with real substance. 

What will you do as Senior Account Manager? 

  • Manage and further develop existing (inter)national retail accounts, from relationship management to commercial negotiations; 

  • Act as a trusted sparring partner to buyers and category managers within retail organizations; 

  • Translate customer and market needs into concrete product and commercial proposals; 

  • Safeguard cost price calculations, margins and commercial conditions for product launches and assortment changes; 

  • Identify and leverage new business opportunities, including representation during customer visits and trade fairs. 

What do we expect from you? 

  • A completed Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, preferably in a commercial or food‑related field; 

  • At least 4 years of experience as an Account Manager in FMCG/Food, preferably working with retail customers; 

  • Proven experience with cost pricing, margin management and commercial negotiations; 

  • Proactive, analytical and independent — you work in a structured way and follow through; 

  • Excellent communication skills in Dutch and English; German is a plus.
