Our science‑based climate targets validated by the SBTi
The Impulse Factory B.V. has reached an important milestone in its climate journey. Our near‑term climate targets have been officially validated by the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) and confirmed as aligned with a 1.5°C trajectory — the most ambitious designation currently available for near‑term targets. This validation reinforces our commitment to climate action grounded in science and aligned with the goals of the Paris Agreement.
We are proud to share that The Impulse Factory B.V.’s near‑term climate targets have been validated by the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi).
The SBTi has confirmed that our Scope 1 and Scope 2 target ambition is aligned with a 1.5°C trajectory — the most ambitious level currently available for near‑term targets. This means our planned emissions reductions are consistent with what climate science says is necessary to limit global warming in line with the Paris Agreement.
Our validated commitment
Under our approved science‑based targets, The Impulse Factory B.V. commits to reduce absolute Scope 1 and Scope 2 GHG emissions by 58.8% by 2034 from a 2024 base year. In addition, we commit to measuring and reducing our Scope 3 emissions, recognising the importance of value‑chain emissions in the food sector.
Why this matters
The coming decade is critical for climate action. By setting science‑based targets, we are taking a structured and transparent approach to reducing emissions within our operations and engaging with partners to drive broader impact across the value chain.
This validation is an important milestone — and a foundation for continued progress as we work to reduce emissions responsibly and in line with climate science.
